Work Hours (Client) : 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST | Extended hours during tax season   

Pay Range : $1500 - $2000 USD/month (varies based on skill set and experience level)

Company/Client Overview:
We’re currently seeking a Remote Tax Preparer to join our team and help us scale operations, with a strong preference for someone who is fluent in Chinese to better serve our expanding Chinese-speaking client base.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and file personal and business tax returns
• Handle sales tax and payroll tax filings
• Review client-provided financial information and ensure accuracy
• Communicate with clients regarding tax-related documents and deadlines
• Assist in maintaining up-to-date client records and documentation
• Be available for extended hours during tax season

Minimum Requirements:

• Language requirement: Proficiency in both English and Mandarin/Chinese is required and non-negotiable
• Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in US tax preparation (U.S. personal and business taxes) is required
• Proficient in handling sales tax and payroll tax
• Fluent in Chinese-Mandarin – verbal and written.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (including Excel, Word, and Outlook)
• Highly detail-oriented, trustworthy, and organized
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
• Strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Willing and able to learn internal tools and adhere to our security protocols
